RYAN STEPHENSON, DO, CLCP

Physician Consultant

Dr. Ryan Stephenson is a full-time clinical physician, specializing in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation with subspecialty board certification in Brain Injury Medicine and Electrodiagnostic Medicine. He has focused his career on the treatment of individuals with disability and pain and is a Certified Life Care Planner. He completed his medical education at the University of New England and residency training at the Baylor College of Medicine/University of Texas PM&R Alliance program. In his academic clinical practice, he has served as Medical Director of Polytrauma and Brain Injury, Medical Director of the Regional Amputation Center, and Medical Director of the Inpatient PM&R Consultation Service, and currently holds the rank of Associate Professor of Clinical Practice at the University of Colorado School of Medicine. Clinically, he treats patients with many forms of disability, brain injury, spinal injury, limb amputation, and acute and chronic pain. He has been recognized for his outstanding contributions as an educator within the PM&R Residency Program and lectures regularly for residents and medical students at the University of Colorado. Additionally, he serves as a Chief Editor for Medscape's PM&R Section. Dr. Stephenson is based out of Denver, Colorado.
